Based on Psalm 1, our focus is threefold:

Reaching Outward, by hosting events with the goal of connecting with other women through fellowship and outreach, welcoming anyone to come and hear the truth of the Gospel of Christ clearly presented, and to feel welcome and loved.

Growing Deeper through the study, understanding and application of God’s Word. By knowing God’s Word, we will know Him, and in knowing Him, we are transformed into women of joy, integrity and strength.

 

Sharing The Shade, basically, to connect with other women through life experience. When we share our spiritual journey with others, we can face the complexities of life together and are able to encourage one another in the grace and faithfulness of God.

Mother-Daughter/Ladies Faux Sleepover

Come join us for a mother-daughter/ladies pretend sleepover for moms & daughters (kindergarten age and up) and if you don't have a daughter, come and get to know other women and thier girls.  Meet us on Friday, June 13th, in the fellowship hall from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.  Bring a snack, your sleeping bag and your PJs.  We will watch a movie, paint nails in on array of colors, chat and other things girly.

 

Berry Fun!

Berry soon, join us for our annual berry picking at Bailey's Berry Patch in Sherman, TX on Tuesday, June 17th.  Arrive at the berry patch by 7:30am for blackberries and 8:30am for blueberries.  Pack a picnic lunch, your cooler to bring home the berries and a hat.  Children are welcome.  For carpooling or questions, contact Christina Kieffer.  For information on the berry farm, look up www.txberry.com.  This is a great morning to get outside and do something unique and fun with our ladies.

LifeOvers....Upside Ways to Become More Like Jesus
by Gracie Malone

With a healthy dose of wisdom and wit, Gracie shows us just what walking with God looks like.  Arranged in thought-provoking chapters complete with study questions, it is perfect for our small group or your own personal growth.

When: Monday nights, 7:00 to 8:30
June 23 - August 11
Where:  TBC  parlor
